The Falling Star

by Alan Azcona

Rising starlet Merribeth Meadows is found dead but unblemished as Detectives Sam Bennet and Jess Hazel are assigned to the case, which they have to fight to keep. Finding her killer is a trail that leads from the glitz and glamor of the Hollywood Hills down through the dirt and grim of the streets. As the suspects stack up the truth behind her image as America’s Sweetheart falls away. It’s a story of jealously, intrigue and loss as our leads stand together against those outside the department and more than a few inside. They’re out for justice, but not for blood.
